Concilium Vaticanum II

Fifty extraordinary photographs by Lothar Wolleh capturing the events and ceremonies of Vatican II. The photographs were originally published in 1965 in a collectible and luxurious (édition de luxe) album titled. “The Council” (a French edition entitled Le concile. Concile de Vatican II was published in 1966: the photographs presented were taken from it).

The publication was produced in collaboration with Father Emil Schmitz SJ of Vatican Radio and with an introduction written by Cardinal Tisserant.
